hey creep

Isn't this picture fun? I love it! Found here.

Because I stopped using my night light sometime around 3rd grade, I thought I was in the brave catagory. I mean, I can watch a scary movie. I can be home alone. Well, today I watched monster hunt and I realized I'm actually scared of lots of things.

Things I'm really scared of:

1. heights- It's gotten so much worse over the last few years. My hands start to sweat even when I see someone else really high. I mean, it's ridiculous. Oddly enough, I'm not scared of flying and I would really like to go up in a hot air balloon.

2. giant snakes- Ah! The way snakes move freak me out so much. Hey floridians, remember hurricane Andrew? Well, homes and pet stores in Miami were destroyed and several hundred pythons and anacondas got loose. And because of our warm climate they are thriving... and getting up to 30 and 40 feet. AH!

3. knowing someone is near me but not being able to see them - I'm sure there is an easier way to say that. Okay, I know that this one sounds confusing. You know that last scene in "Silence of the Lambs" when Jodie Foster is in Buffalo Bill's house and she can't see him even though she knows he's there? And he can see her because he has those infared goggles? AHHHH!

4. vomiting- Also known as emetophobia.

5. dead people- I guess this one doesn't really make sense... because what can they do to me? They're already dead. However, I can't think of anything more terrifying than finding a dead body. I had a dream once that I found someone who hung (hanged?) themselves. It was the worst dream of my life.

6. crazy people- You know the ones. Those crazies that think they're vampires. Members of the KKK. Serial killers.

I would like you all to know that I'm not scared of cockroaches, big foot, the dark or alien abduction.

But, clearly I'm a scaredy cat. What are you afraid of?

-And someone sneaking up on me while I'm getting in my car or unlocking the front door to my house.

Giant snakes? I did not realize they were taking over MIAMI! THANK GOODNESS I GOT THE HECK OUT OF THERE!

I physically cannot watch any scary movie. At all. Which is not cool since I kinda like them.

I'm scared of mice. Yuck.

I am constantly terrified that someone is hiding behind the driver's seat of my car. I check over and over again on dark nights...
