tears of the saints

This summer I worked at a student camp called Fuge. It was long and hard and amazing. I played a lot of kick ball, made some sweet posters, sang silly songs and kind of acted like a crazy person. But mostly, I talked to teenagers about finding Jesus and what to do after they've found him. Lots of people have asked me why I do this. Why I leave every summer. Why I would quit my job just for 8 weeks of camp. Well, I do it because I love it. I love it with my whole heart and I honestly can't think of a better job. I learn something new every week with every group of students. Sometimes it's about patience and sometimes it's about love. I see kids that are broken and hurting... but I also get to see joy. I get to see them finally get it. That is amazing and beautiful.

That picture is of the stairs in front of our stage. Those spots are tear marks.

This is a wonderful picture to go along with your heading.

It is a hard thing to leave behind.
And with so many changes in the actual, you gotta hope things work out for the best because pictures like these are the reason kids decide to change their lives.

Not because of the picture, because of the reason the picture even exists.

It's not super hard to leave behind, it's just good to look back on.
